The Front Hallway
As you enter this home the living room is directly in front of you and kitchen to the right. The hallway is in a patterned wood flooring and closet is to the right.

An Office Nook Once a bedroom and now the wall removed, this open area to the right of the staircase leads to the recreation room. Perfect for a computer desk or den, if there is need for a 4th bedroom, one can close it back up and remove the staircase as there is another entrance to the lower level from the kitchen area.

The Recreation Room
This recreation room has at its centre, a huge stone fireplace where the wood burning insert stove is located and heats the majority of the home. The current owner has always used this as his primary source of heat – with electric baseboard as supplementary heat, if needed. The entire room has knotty pine walls and is carpeted with a double sliding glass door to the rear patio area.

The Lower Level Kitchen At one end of the room is this finished kitchen area with breakfast bar area (or just bar area) if you turn it into a games room. There are 4 windows in this part of the lower level and plenty of room for guests to stay overnight or the perfect “flat” for the older child in the family who needs more “space”. The entire floor is carpeted for comfort and warmth. This lower level with its own 3 piece bathroom is a self-contained apartment with its own entrance at the back and 2 entrances from the main floor.

The Laundry Room
This laundry room area with its double tub, washer and dryer also houses the water tank, softener and hot water heater. There is plenty of room in this space for a furnace, if desired and with today’s grants for Geo-thermal furnaces, this would be the property (with the ponds for the loop system) for just that upgrade.
