The Great Room
Gorgeous pine plank flooring with a honey coloured stain, tongue-in-groove pine ceiling and massive white pine beams are featured in the Great Room. Overlooking the wooded lot through the great span of windows and garden doors on the east wall, the light pours in this room. Open to the kitchen and dining area, the focus shifts to the stone fireplace with its High Country Napoleon woodstove insert with variable blower and temperature sensors.  The Cultured stone finish and slate flooring blend beautifully with the warm pine. The staircase leading to the upper master suite is solid pine and is pegged with dowels.
The Dining Area
The white pine flooring continues into the dining area with its spectacular picture windows looking into the woods.  This room is 26 feet to the peak and features the exposed beams as seen in these various angle shots.  Open enough to handle a banquet table and large china cabinet, it is THE place to gather for all occasions.
The Kitchen
When you think “chef’s” kitchen, this would be the one.  Custom designed and built by Bambco kitchens out of Guelph, the tall deep maple cabinetry fits graciously into this space.  Ample cupboards provide huge counter space with its gorgeous polished granite and tumble marble backsplash.  Stainless steel appliances include the Jen Air double built-in convection ovens, dishwasher, fridge and 6 burner Jen-Air propane gas stove with griddle. The antique white maple island serves as a breakfast and Buffet counter.

The entire length of the island has deep pull out pot drawers and at the side – an area for wine fridge and rack.  Floors are ecru coloured Travertine limestone tiles – simply gorgeous.  To the left of the fridge is a large walk-in pantry for extra storage of goods and a stackable washer/dryer with laundry tub in a separate room.

The Front Entrance
One enters into this gracious home through the double doors with intricate water glass.  Flooring is Indian slate with its natural flow of colours from blue greys to coppers.

This Foyer measures 22 feet by 14 feet and is spacious enough for a long sitting bench to facilitate getting in and out of boots upon entering. There is a 2 piece powder room conveniently located steps from the front door.

The Structure and Woodwork
A sampling of the structural beams and ceiling give us an idea of the substantial building that these timber frame homes are.
