The Living Room
Up on the second level, the open concept living room with its peaked higher ceiling and bank of windows facing east and south makes this is a bright and welcoming living room all season long. This is where the best views of the Mulmur hills are enjoyed. At one end of the room is a floor to ceiling brick wall with its high efficiency wood stove for those wintry nights.  Honey coloured wood floors throughout.  This large room was built to be able to handle a formal dining room area, if so desired.

The Kitchen and Eat-in Area
With its dark walnut hardwood floors, the kitchen is open to the living room and has its own walkout to the upper deck.  Solid pine cupboards, corner sink and windows facing west and the setting sun.  Plenty of room for a large kitchen table and chairs, it is the quintessential country kitchen where the family gathers daily.  A large picture window facing east brings in the rising sun every morning.

Landing on the Upper Level
At the top of the stairs leading into the kitchen area is another exit onto another deck which faces west. The dark coloured tongue in groove walnut flooring runs from the hallway directly through the kitchen.
